“Gooder” is not good English.
So, where did it come from?
A note from Matt~
One day when I was checking out at a store, I noticed the checker didn’t seem to be in the best of moods.
As a “motivational speaker and farm boy,” I decided to attempt cheering her up.
I approached the register and exuberantly said, “GOOD DAY MA’AM! How are YOU today?!?”
She looked up and said rather expressionless, “I’m good. How are you?”
I proudly said, “I’m goodER!”
She laughed!
That is when I decided that my life’s motto would become, “Life is good. Let’s make it GOODER!”
Katy and I pride ourselves on trying to be the most positive people you could ever meet. As often as possible, we try to share a good word, a sincere compliment or a smile to help brighten someone’s day.
We try to be so positive that as I travel around the country, I am constantly asked if I ever have a bad day. The answer is, of course, I do, everyone does, but even in those days, there is something to be grateful for. Throughout the ups and downs of life, there have been moments when I felt defeated, but I never let stress win. Hopefully I have always chosen to be a positive influence.
We believe that there is good in every day.
We believe that there is good in every person.
We believe there is GoodERness in YOU!
Welcome to A Gooder Life.
